Vancouver-based Grupo America has dazzled international audiences with spectacular performances, featuring top dancers and choreographers from leading folkloric ballet companies across Latin America.
Erika Sanchez (Director) and her brother Diego Sanchez (Artistic Director) created a dance school (World Dance), established a professional performance dance team and have presented in Vancouver an annual World Dance Festival.
The 2014 Festival presented a variety of dances from many countries including Mexico, Angola, USA, Columbia, India, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ireland and the Caribbean. These images are from the diverse dance routines presented this year
