Expect the unexpected as intriguing and exhilarating dances pop up in unusual spaces throughout Granville Island. This year Pop Up Dances will feature Ottawa’s Tara Luz Danse (contemporary dance), on their first ever performance in BC, alongside some of Vancouver’s favourite dance companies: the response. (Contemporary Dance), Raices y Alas Flamenco and pataSola Dance (Butoh). Bloco Energia, Vancouver’s percussion collective will lead the tour with their warm, vibrant and energetic sound!
